Rapid Response Network in Colorado Provides a 24/7 Hotline to Report ICE Activities, Inform Community Members of their Rights, and Send Volunteer Support in Real Time

Colorado Rapid Response Network, a coalition of immigration, religious, and legal nonprofits, including ACLU Colorado and American Friends Service Committee, amasses 3,000 volunteers across the state to run what they call a neighborhood watch to document unwanted activities and inform residents. “The purpose is to make sure people have the facts and that we try to dissuade some fear,” said Lane-Arellano, Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition. “Because what the Trump administration wants is for our people to be afraid all the time.” More here.
